Hypershot abilities are part of the game's combat toolkit: the official experience describes using them to outmaneuver opponents. Start by reading the options available to your account in the current game, then compare how you use them alongside a familiar weapon. The sources support abilities and a broad currency-unlock system, but not a complete ability roster or a strongest-to-weakest ranking.

This guide uses official material checked on October 27, 2026. The comparison routine below is editorial practice advice, rather than a tested ability tier list or a claim about specific effects and cooldowns.

01

Read an ability before building around it

Open the official Hypershot experience and inspect the information the current client provides for an ability you can use. Read its description, displayed requirements and any instructions before making it central to your play. If information is missing, leave that question open instead of borrowing a rule from a similarly named feature elsewhere.

For a useful first comparison, choose a familiar weapon and one recurring situation you want to handle better. You might want to make more deliberate decisions around cover or avoid committing to a fight without a plan. Treat the ability's actual observed behavior as something to learn, rather than assuming its name tells you everything.

02

Check unlock requirements item by item

The official listing associates coins and gems with unlocking weapons, skins and abilities. That wording groups several currencies and item types together; it does not establish a universal price or tell you that every ability uses the same currency. Use the current item's displayed requirements when deciding what progression goal to pursue.

Keep three questions separate: what an ability does, whether your account can use it, and what the game currently requires to unlock it. A description of an ability does not answer the other two. The coins and gems guide explains the broader currency and catalog distinctions without assigning unsupported per-ability prices.

03

What the Unlock All Abilities catalog entry covers

The official catalog contains an entry named Unlock All Abilities. Its description refers to non-exclusive abilities and future additions. The qualification matters: the title alone is not evidence that exclusive abilities are included.

In the October 27 catalog snapshot, this entry's sale flag was false. It therefore cannot be presented here as a currently purchasable shortcut. The catalog description also does not verify delivery to a particular account or provide a roster of everything covered; read any current entitlement information against the precise non-exclusive scope.

04

Compare your options with one change at a time

Use this editorial routine with abilities that your current client allows you to select:

  1. Keep your weapon and general practice goal consistent while you learn one ability.
  2. Read the current instructions and observe what happens when you use it, including any feedback the game displays.
  3. Note the situation in which you chose to use it and whether that choice helped you carry out your intended action.
  4. Try another available option while keeping the same comparison goal.
  5. Repeat before deciding. A single successful encounter cannot establish that one ability is universally stronger.

Write short observations such as “used too late” or “did not support my plan,” rather than inventing an effectiveness score. Your weapon handling and positioning can change the outcome at the same time. The weapons and loadouts guide provides a related comparison framework for the rest of your setup.

05

Choose an option you can explain

A useful choice is one whose purpose you can describe and whose use you can repeat deliberately. Ask what situation you are preparing for, what the current ability description supports, and what your practice actually showed. Revisit the choice when the available options or their displayed instructions change; an unsupported “best abilities” label is a weaker basis for a loadout than a clear, repeatable plan.
